This plan uses five specific and effective treatment protocols:
Functional Movement Screen
Nitric Oxide Release
Active Release Technique
Strength & Conditioning
This plan requires 6-8 weeks of treatment and is specifically designed for those patients seeking immediate correction and pain relief.
Gain Rapid Recovery
True pain relief is an interwoven process with a clear plan of integrated treatments to deliver maximum results. That is why we created the Rapid Recovery Plan. It was specifically designed for those patients who are in obvious duress and need immediate help with pain relief. The proprietary processes and techniques we utilize are unique to the Rapid Recovery Care Centers and are considered the Gold Standard by OSHA. Our soft tissue therapy, commonly known as Active Release Techniques(ART), is applied in conjunction with complementary therapies. It delivers patients rapid recovery from pain.
Why live with pain?
Pain is the primary motivation for why patients come to Rapid Recovery Care Centers, and relieving pain happens to be our specialty. We understand how pain limits your ability to perform regular everyday activities. Pain makes it harder to work, play and enjoy life. It robs you of precious time with your friends and family members.
The Functional Movement Screen(FMS®) is a ranking and grading system that documents 7 full-body movement patterns that are critical to normal function. By screening these patterns, the FMS® readily identifies functional limitations and asymmetries. These are issues that can reduce the effects of training and conditioning lower performance. The FMS® generates an FMS® Score, which is used to target problems and track progress. This scoring system is directly linked to the most beneficial exercises to restore natural movement patterns.
To deal with stress, we use a secret weapon – Nitric Oxide Release(NOR). It removes the twist in the fascial system. Our exclusive NOR is a crucial part of our program. The series of well-coordinated stretches result in an increased release of nitric oxide. Nitric Oxide is a short-lived molecule with long-lasting physiological effects on the cardiovascular, immune, and nervous systems. It plays an important role in vasodilation–the regulation of arterial blood pressure while reducing the tension on the fascia. NOR lowers stress hormones like cortisol, which can be harmful if levels are too high. The NOR is eight Physician Assisted Stretches designed to untwist the fascia, loosen and relax the tissues of your body. The NOR stretches are performed safely by one of our well-trained physicians at the beginning of the treatment. Once untwisted, patients immediately feel a change in their body and get on their way to feeling good again.
Active Release Technique
Active Release Techniques(ART®) is a patented, state of the artsoft tissue movement based technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART®. The main goal of ART® is to reestablish proper motion between muscles and fascia while reducing fibrous adhesions. Ultimately myofascial(muscle and fascia) and neural(nerves) glide is reestablished allowing for proper function.
Our chiropractors work with you to correct spinal misalignments—even seemingly minor ones—to remove interferences(misalignments = subluxations). This liberates pinched nerves so that your entire nervous system is free to operate in your best interests. First, our chiropractor will assess your medical history and give you a full examination to determine where these subluxations are located. Then, through gentle and precise chiropractic adjustments, we will guide your spine back into its healthy, natural posture.
Strength and conditioning are treatment methods that help people restore, maintain and maximize their body’s function, motion and overall well-being by addressing the underlying physical issues. These activities prevent injury and disability, manage acute & chronic conditions, improve & maintain optimal performance, and accelerate rehabilitation.
Performance training is the training of the body and mind to prepare an athlete for the rigors of a specific sport. It differs from personal training in that the athlete is conditioned and prepared properly to compete in their sport of choice, rather thanbroader general fitness. Individual characteristics such as age, gender, and fitness level are combined with scientifically proven training methods and exercises to create a customized, sports specific, workout plan that results in a more confident & motivated athlete. The focus is to enhance the athlete’s performance in a competition by using the latest advancements in sports science and kinesiology to develop a sport specific strength and conditioning program.Ultimately this will improve the athlete’s overall athleticism – one’s strength, agility, speed, power, coordination, and balance as it relates to the sport in which they compete.
